Cleopatra Island (Sedir Island) Tour

Among the most beautiful daily boat tours of the Marmaris region, you can see Sedir Island, also known as Cleopatra Beach, its golden yellow sand and turquoise clear and warm sea, the theater, harbor and other historical artifacts from the ancient city, and take souvenir photos. The Cleopatra Beach of the Çamlı village they visited almost resembles a tropical island.

The feature of the sand of Sedir Island is that it burns in fire, multiplies in soda water and moves when examined under a magnifying glass. Therefore, it is forbidden to sunbathe on the sand on the beach. It is a precaution taken especially for foreign tourists. This unique island in the world is one of the most important tourism regions of Turkey.

Legend of Cleopatra Island

The meeting point of the beautiful Queen Cleopatra and her lover Roman Commander Antonius. Legend has it that the Roman Antonius brought the sand from Egypt for his lover by ships.

10:30 : Departure by boat from Çamlı harbor

11:00 : 44 minutes swimming break in Incekum

12:00 : 1 hour swimming and lunch break in Zeytinli Bay

13:15: Arrival at Sedir Island (2 hours 45 minutes of free time, you can either swim at the Cleopatra beach or wander around the ancient city.)

17:00 : Swimming break at Dolphin Bay

17:30 : Arrival at the port and return to Marmaris

18:15 : Arrival in Marmaris
